Trio Contrastes
Since its formation in 1998, the Trío Contrastes has offered numerous recitals, with a clear commitment to the music of our time, and especially to Spanish music. With this idea, over time they have had contact with a large number of composers, some of whom have written and dedicated their works to the group. They also make their own adaptations of works, especially of Spanish nationalism (19th and 20th centuries), and have offered concerts in Spain, Germany, Korea or Canada, for example, offering different repertoires. The core of the group, the Trío Contrastes, has increased its staff with a series of regular collaborators to become, when the project so requires, Ensemble Contrastes.
Desde su formación, en 1998, el Trío Contrastes ha ofrecido numerosos recitales, con un claro compromiso hacia la música de nuestro tiempo, y muy especialmente con la música española. Con esta idea, a lo largo del tiempo han tenido contacto con un gran número de compositores, algunos de los cuales han escrito y dedicado sus obras al grupo. También realizan adaptaciones propias de obras, sobre todo del nacionalismo español (s. XIX y XX).
Así, han ofrecido conciertos en España, Alemania, Corea, o Canadá, por ejemplo, ofreciendo diversos repertorios. Sus tres componentes se dedican también a la docencia, vocación que se une a la de intérpretes en conciertos y ciclos didácticos que ofrecen periódicamente.
El núcleo del grupo, el Trío Contrastes, ve incrementada su plantilla con una serie de colaboradores regulares para convertirse, cuando el proyecto así lo requiere, en Ensemble Contrastes.
