DESCRIPTION:Falla Ensemble is a group specialising in contemporary music that focuses its repertoire on scores composed in the last hundred years. \nThe Ensemble is built around Manuel de Falla’s Concerto for harpsichord and five instruments. This work and its composer could be more than enough of an excuse for the creation of the Ensemble\, but it would be unfair to forget the other protagonist of this project: the harpsichord\, an instrument unjustly forgotten in current creation\, and whose special sonority can contribute a great deal to contemporary music. \nThe Ensemble is made up of a group of first-class Spanish musicians\, among whom we can highlight the harpsichordist Silvia Marquez\, one of the best in our country\, and with great international recognition. \nThe repertoire they work with is very wide\, covering works from the first half of the 20th century (such as: Manuel de Falla\, Eliot Carter\, Darius Milhaud\, Bela Bartok…) to the most current repertoire\, including world premieres by Sergio Blardony\, Samuel Aguilar\, Nino Díaz… \nPROGRAMME \nJacobo Durán-Loriga – Jabardillo contrapuntístico\nSamuel Aguilar – Some small\, little\, tiny thoughts\nKaija Saariaho – Jardin secret II for harpsichord and tape\nDarius Milhaud – Sonata for violin and harpsichord\nEnric Palomar – Concerto di camara* *Concerto di camara* \n*World Premiere

DESCRIPTION:Adquirir entradas \nFalla Ensemble está constituido por siete músicos españoles que cuentan con carreras musicales de primer nivel: la clavecinista Silvia Márquez\, la flautista Carmen Ojeda\, el oboísta José Luis Pascual\, el clarinetista Pablo Blanco\, el violinista Pablo Araya\, la violonchelista Judit Díaz y el director musical Nino Díaz. La plantilla del grupo nace del Concierto para Clave y cinco instrumentos del compositor gaditano Manuel de Falla\, obra que toman como punto de partida del repertorio. Esta obra y este autor podrían ser sobradamente la excusa para la creación del Ensemble\, pero sería injusto olvidar al otro protagonista de este proyecto: el clave. Un instrumento olvidado tras su época dorada\, pese a su especial sonoridad y contribución a la música contemporánea. El repertorio que maneja el conjunto musical es muy amplio\, pues abarca obras desde la primera mitad del siglo XX\, como Manuel de Falla\, Eliot Carter\, Darius Milhaud\, Bela Bartok\, hasta el repertorio más actual\, incluyendo estrenos mundiales de Sergio Blardony\, Samuel Aguilar y Nino Díaz\, entre otros. \nCon la creación del Falla Ensemble\, la Fundación Nino Díaz ha querido homenajear a uno de los mejores compositores de nuestra historia\, además de reflejar la importancia de un instrumento como el clave mediante la promoción del repertorio contemporáneo y la creación de nuevas obras. \nEl repertorio que trabajan es muy amplio\, abarcando obras desde la primera mitad del siglo XX (como: Manuel de Falla\, Eliot Carter\, Darius Milhaud\, Bela Bartok…) hasta el repertorio más actual\, incluyendo estrenos mundiales de Sergio Blardony\, Samuel Aguilar\, Nino Díaz… \n\nPROGRAMA \nJacobo Durán-Loriga – Jabardillo contrapuntístico\nDarius Milhaud – Sonata para violín y clave\nRoberto Sierra – Chacona en forma de montuno\nSamuel Aguilar – Some small\, little\, tiny thoughts\nEnric Palomar – Concerto di camara* \n*Estreno Mundial
