The film tells the touching story of a tramp (played by Chaplin) who finds an abandoned baby in an alley and decides to raise him as his own son. As the child grows up\, the unlikely duo embarks on a series of comedic adventures while facing challenges and obstacles together. \n\nPIANO: Esther Ropón (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). \nConsidered by German critics as the “young ambassador of Spanish music\,” she has had an extensive concert career in this country\, performing in Hamburg\, Stuttgart\, Hanover\, Leipzig\, and especially in Berlin\, as well as in the Canary Islands and various Spanish cities such as Lleida\, Barcelona\, Madrid\, Palma de Mallorca\, as well as in Switzerland\, Denmark\, Sweden\, Japan\, and Turkey. Always open to new challenges\, in her efforts to bring classical music to all of society\, she has worked at Radio Clásica of Radio Nacional de España\, where she directed and presented the music outreach program ‘The Music That Inspires Us.’ In collaboration with the Auditorio de Tenerife\, she has released her third recording ‘From East to West\,’ focusing on 20th-century chamber music for two pianos. Born in Tenerife in 1980\, she studied in Tenerife\, Barcelona\, and Berlin. Starring Buster Keaton\, one of the most recognized actors and filmmakers of the silent film era. \nThe film tells the story of Buster\, a lovestruck photographer aspiring to become a successful news cameraman. Despite his lack of experience\, he purchases a movie camera and attempts to make his way in the industry\, finding himself in various comedic and challenging situations. \nBuster falls in love with Sally\, who works at the MGM news office. In an attempt to impress her and prove his worth\, he embarks on a series of misadventures\, including accidentally disrupting a baseball game\, getting involved in a street fight\, and inadvertently causing chaos during a swimming competition. He holds a Doctorate in Music from the Faculty of Teacher Training at ULPGC\, and he has completed Masters degrees in Orchestral Conducting\, Cultural Management\, and Jazz and Modern Music Composition. Additionally\, he pursued undergraduate studies in Psychology at UNED. Currently\, he works as an educator at the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands and in postgraduate programs at various universities. He has been professionally involved in music both as a teacher and as a performer from a young age\, working as a pianist\, composer\, and music producer. He has been part of the music industry\, recording for major artists and international labels like Sony Music or CBS\, among others. \n\nBLOSSOMING VILLAGE. One day\, he encounters a seductive woman from the city and falls under her influence. She convinces the farmer to murder his wife so they can start a new life together in the city. However\, when the farmer carries out his plan\, he becomes overwhelmed with guilt and remorse. \n“Sunrise” is acclaimed as one of the standout films of the silent film era. It won the unique “Best Unique and Artistic Picture” award at the first Academy Awards in 1929. The film is distinguished by its innovative cinematography\, use of narrative and visual techniques\, and emotionally resonant portrayal of characters and their moral dilemmas. \n\nPIANO: Manuel Bonino (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). \nComposer\, improviser\, and doctor from ULPGC\, his chamber\, symphonic\, choral\, and electroacoustic music has received awards and mentions in international competitions\, as well as his arrangements. With recordings on up to 16 albums\, his works have been performed in Berlin\, Paris\, Prague\, Budapest\, Havana\, Seoul\, Shanghai\, Vienna’s Konzerthaus\, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw\, Spain’s National Auditorium\, and more. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Sinfonietta de Paris\, the Hungarian Chamber Symphony Orchestra\, the OST\, the OFGC\, and interpreters like Garth Knox\, Juri Gilbo\, Raquel Lojendio\, Julián Elvira\, etc. As a performer and improviser\, he has appeared in major cities like Amsterdam\, Berlin\, and Madrid. Locations: Fuencaliente (La Palma). \nSynopsis: \nThe eruption lasted from October 26\, 1971\, to November 18 of the same year and was relatively short\, the shortest historical eruption in the Canary Islands. People from the islands\, journalists\, scientists\, and tourists gathered to witness the eruption. The penultimate historical volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands and Spain occurred in La Palma in the early 1970s\, triggered by the Teneguía Volcano\, which stands at an altitude of 439 meters and is located at the southern end of the Cumbre Vieja. The lava covered an area of 2\,845\,000 square meters with a 4-meter-thick blanket and extended into the sea\, fossilizing a coastal cliff that formed a lava delta\, expanding the island’s size. Although it did not affect populated areas\, it caused damage to vine crops in the area and also destroyed a beach. La Palma then became a significant tourist attraction\, drawing numerous tourists over the past 45 years to visit the volcano. The volcano was named Teneguía after a rock formation near its source\, a name given by the ancient Canarians who inhabited the island.
