La fuerza teatral de Turandot\, el magnetismo de Carmen\, la intensidad de Rigoletto y el carácter popular y refinado de la zarzuela española convivirán en un programa inspirado en títulos como La tabernera del puerto\, Luisa Fernanda\, Doña Francisquita o El barberillo de Lavapiés. \nPancho Corujo\, tenor nacido en Lanzarote y una de las voces líricas canarias con mayor proyección\, con una carrera que lo ha llevado a teatros como La Fenice de Venecia\, el Teatro Real de Madrid\, la Arena de Verona o el Teatro de la Zarzuela. \nRuth Terán\, soprano madrileña de sólida trayectoria en ópera y zarzuela\, ha desarrollado una carrera vinculada a escenarios nacionales e internacionales y a papeles de gran exigencia vocal y dramática. On stage\, the Alicante soprano Carmen Mateo\, one of the most promising voices on the Spanish scene\, the Colombian mezzo-soprano Andrea Niño and the Valencian baritone Manuel Mas\, one of the most sought-after lyric professionals by the main festivals and seasons in Spain\, will dialogue with the piano of the Lanzarote-born Ernesto Alemán to trace a vibrant journey through essential pages of our scene. \n  \nThe evening offers the theatrical flavour of the sainete lírico La revoltosa by Ruperto Chapí\, along with such beloved titles as El dúo de La africana by Manuel Fernández Caballero\, El barberillo de Lavapiés by Francisco Asenjo Barbieri and Luisa Fernanda de Federico Moreno Torroba\, works that have accompanied generations of audiences and which\, each time they are played again\, reaffirm their capacity to move\, to make people laugh and to bring together families\, friends and music lovers in the same collective breath.
