DESCRIPTION:Soprano Judith Pezoa accompanied on piano by Sandra González will offer us an interesting and entertaining programme with a selection of opera arias and zarzuela. \nJudith Pezoa was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria\, she graduated with the highest qualification in Singing and Piano. She obtained distinction in the International Academy of Music of Nice and in the Rossinian Academy of Pesaro. Always in constant formation\, she has perfected her vocal technique with great masters such as Plácido Domingo\, Mariella Devia\, Alberto Zedda\, María Orán\, etc. She has been awarded in the International Singing Competitions of Torino\, Logroño\, Colmenar Viejo\, Opera de Tenerife and Cajacanarias. \nHer career spans theatres and auditoriums such as Pérez Galdós\, Reina Victoria\, Alfredo Kraus\, Adán Martín\, La Maestranza\, Niza\, Padova\, Udine\, Monza\, Milano\, Busto Arsizio\, Varese and Pesaro\, where she covers the main roles of operas and zarzuelas such as Rigoletto\, Die Zauberflöte\, Cosi fan Tutte\, L’elisir d’amore\, La Traviata\, Lucia di Lammermoor\, Sonnambula\, La Fille du Regiment\, Bohéme\, Doña Francisquita\, El Barbero de Sevilla\, Marina\, Carmina Burana\, etc. All this under the special musical direction of masters as Eric Hull\, Miquel Ortega\, Alessandro D’Agostini\, Pedro Halfter\, Pier Pelucchi\, A. Zedda\, Liu Ja\, Alessandro Vitiello\, Bruno Aprea\, Víctor Pablo Pérez\, Marzio Conti\, Lucía Marín and Evelino Pidò among others. \nShe takes part in the international concert series Vive la Lírica in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with artists as Aprile Millo\, Ainhoa Arteta\, Nancy F. Herrera\, Carlos Álvarez\, Yolanda Auyanet and Lawrence Brownlee\, among others. \nShe has performed numerous voice and piano recitals and concerts both nationally and internationally in cities such as Nice\, Lion\, Lugano\, Brissago\, Paris\, Vienna\, Milan\, Madrid\, Logroño\, Jaén\, Murcia\, Castellón\, Barcelona\, Lanzarote\, Fuerteventura\, La Palma\, Tenerife\, Huesca\, Zaragoza and Palma de Mallorca. \nShe comes after having performed in the Cathedral of Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid (Almudena’s Cathedral) a recital with voice and organ within the commemorative acts of the Bicentenary of the Foundation of the International Congregation Jesús María\, as well as to incarnate the role of La Casta\, of the zarzuela La verbena de la Paloma\, within the XXVI Canary Islands Zarzuela Season. Also during the month of December she takes part as a soloist in the Gala Siempre Zarzuela which is the closing ceremony of the season. She is also guest soloist in the IV Solidarity Lyric Gala of New Year that took place in the Auditorium of the Cultural Center Maspalomas. SUMMARY:Falla Ensemble
DESCRIPTION:Falla Ensemble is a group specialising in the interpretation of music from the 20th and 21st centuries. SUMMARY:Evelia M. Rodriguez
DESCRIPTION:The Canarian pianist Evelia Mª Rodríguez was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria\, where she began her studies at the Professional Conservatory of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the teacher Ana Isabel Juan De Alzola\, combining her piano training with Fermina Caballero Massieu and finishing with an Honors License and Extraordinary End of Degree Award. \nAfter being awarded in the first edition of the City of Gáldar Pedro Espinosa Contest\, she is granted a scholarship by the Island Council of Gran Canaria to further her studies with the pianist Pedro Espinosa in Madrid. \nMore recently he has completed his training with the Ukrainian pianist Galyna Neporzhnya\, and Miguel Ángel Ortega Chavaldas. He also receives valuable advice from Professor Almudena Cano. \nHe attends master classes by Guillermo González\, Cristina Bruno\, Esteban Sanchez\, Carmen Bravo\, Luca Chiantore\, Uli Molsen\, Almudena Cano\, among others. \nHe has performed in various concert halls in Las Palmas\, Lanzarote\, Fuerteventura\, La Palma\, and in recordings for RTVE\, receiving good reviews and reception from the public. \nParallel to his activity as an interpreter he maintains an intense pedagogical life at the Professional Music Conservatory Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. \n\nPROGRAM \nF. DESCRIPTION:El dúo de flauta y guitarra integrado por Ana Ramón y Sergio Hernández trabaja conjuntamente en distintas formaciones de cámara desde el año 2003\, abarcando un repertorio muy variado original y adaptado a esta formación\n\nAna Cecilia Ramón Bernat\nRealiza\, en el Conservatorio Superior de Música “Joaquín Rodrigo” de Valencia\, estudios superiores de flauta\, recibiendo Mención Honorífica en el Premio Final de Carrera. Perfecciona estudios con solistas como: Juana Guillem\, Mª Antonia Rodríguez\, José Socorres\, Willi Freivogel\, Vicenç Prats\, Luc Urbain y Philippa Davies. \nFue miembro de la Unión Musical de Benicàsim\, del Grupo de Cámara “La Flauta Mágica” de Valencia\, del Grupo de Cámara “Arpeggione” de Fuerteventura  y colaboró con la Orquesta de la Escuela Superior de Reina Sofía. \nParticipó en el I y III Ciclos de Conciertos Música e Historia en Fuerteventura (2003 y 2006)\, Concierto “Homenaje a Andrés Segovia” (2007)\, Espectáculo “Puro Romance” (2009)\, Concierto “Homenaje a Ernesto Lecuona” (2013). \nProyecto “La creación musical en Canarias 57” con la grabación del dúo con guitarra SPIB(2009). \nImpartió clases en el Conservatorio Superior de Música “Eduardo Martínez Torner” de Oviedo. \nActualmente es profesora de música de Educación Secundaria y forma parte del Proyecto Interdisciplinar “ImpresionArte” (Homenaje a Debussy) como flautista. \n\nSergio Hernández Ramos\nRealiza los estudios de guitarra con los maestros Silvestre Álvarez Alemán y Carlos Oramas\, \, obteniendo el Premio Extraordinario Fin de Carrera en el Conservatorio Superior de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. DESCRIPTION:SEBASTIÁN GIL\nProfessor of Trumpet and Trumpet Pedagogy of the Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands (Spain)\nBorn in Firgas\, Gran Canaria\, on December 15\, 1972. \nConsidered one of the most versatile trumpeters of his generation\, he performs both in the interpretation of ancient music and in the deepest jazz\, going through the classical \ninterpretation. \nHe began his trumpet studies at the age of eight in his hometown\, Firgas\, (Gran Canaria\, Spain) in the School Board “Youth Music Band of Firgas”. Later he moved to the Conservatory of Music of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria\, where he studied with Professor D. Santiago Luri San Vicente. Finish the top trumpet degree with the highest grades. He expands his studies with Professor Alejandro Castañeda (trumpet soloist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria). Scholar by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria he moved to Valencia to study\, where he studied music and university at the conservatories “José Iturbi” and “Joaquín Rodrigo” and at the University of Valencia. \nHe has received classes from the most prestigious trumpeters in the classical field as well as in Jazz and early music. Cataloging\, study and didactic proposal of interpretation “\, with which it obtained the grade of” cum laude “. \nHe has various publications on musical cataloging and research of the trumpet and organ repertoire\, as well as articles on methodological innovation in the teaching of the trumpet. \nHe is member of the International Trumpet Guild (USA)\, an international association of pedagogues and trumpet performers. With this association he was invited to participate in the 35th and 38th congress that was held in July 2010 and 2012 in the cities of Sydney (Australia) and Michigan (United States) respectively\, reaping great success in the various concerts and conferences held in said cities. \nHe is a member of the management team of the SEM-EE\, Society for Musical Education of the Spanish State. As well as advisor of the different scientific committees of this association. \nHe has participated in more than fifty recordings of very diverse nature. SUMMARY:Acciaccatura Duet
DESCRIPTION:Acciacatura was created in 2013\, at the Conservatory of Music of Aragón (Zaragoza). Its members\, very interested in the study and interpretation of ancient music\, have been trained with prestigious interpreters for separeted (Lina Tur\, François Fernández\, Carole Petitdemange\, Cibran Sierra\, Hopkinson Smith\, Daniel Zapico and Pablo Zapico among others )\, and also as a group (Laura Puerto\, Saskia Roures\, Silvia Marquez\, Quiroga Quartet). They have been members of the Academy of Ancient Music of the Conservatory of Music of Aragon\, and have attended to different editions the International Course of Early Music of Daroca\, where they had the opportunity to work with Luis Antonio González (“Los músicos de su alteza”) . They have also participated in the Ancient Music Festival of Albarracín. \nThey have performed as a duo in various stages of the Aragonese capital such as the Cultural Center of Arms\, the Auditorium Eduardo del Pueyo\, the Conservatory of Music of Aragon and the Professional Conservatory of Music of Zaragoza\, participating in the project of integration of the historic center of Zaragoza. \nIn 2015 they made a tour arround Nicaragua in which they did not only presented their pedagogical project but also performed as a duo at the Batahola Norte Cultural Center in Managua. During the summer of 2017 they tour around the peninsula\, performing in Madrid\, Huesca and Gijón\, as well as in France in the church of Louvie Juzon and in the Thetre des Quatre Saisons\, Gradignan\, Bordeaux. They also participate in the XXI International Music Festival of the Ribagorza “Clásicos en la frontera”. Last October they performed at the Auditorium of Zaragoza and in November 2017 they recorded their first CD “Acciaccatura” which includes the three main styles of musical baroque: Italian\, French and German. \nVery interested in the social cause have organized several concerts in centers for disabled people as in the Fernando el Católico Center in Zaragoza. \nTogether they have participated in diverse pedagogical projects. Noteworthy is the creation of the Violin and Guitar Course at the Batahola Norte Cultural Center “music between cultures” in Managua. From this same ambition to teach music to people who normally do not have that approach arises in 2016 the cycle of concerts known as “The Conciertazo” in Zaragoza\, organized by the integration project of the historic center of Zaragoza. In 2017 she obtains the “Extraordinary End of Career Award” in the Conservatory of Canarias in the specialty of contrabass. \nShe has taken part in different masterclasses given by teachers like Mark Peters\, Asier Polo\, María de Macedo\, Christophe Coin\, Mariano García\, Damián Martínez\, Aldo Mata\, Angel Luis Quintana\, Suzana Stefanovic\, Adrián Brendel\, Rafael Pidoux\, Mark Friedhoff\, Charles Tunnell\, Arnau Tomas\, Alexander Osokin\, Sung – Won Yang\, David Etheve\, Bernard Gregor Smith and Sigurdur Halldórsson. He began piano lessons at the Music Conservatory of his home town with Concepción Hernández Peraza\, with whom he finished his intermediate degree studies\, obtaining Honor Mention in every academic year. \nIn 1988 he was given a scholarship by the Autonomous Government of the Canary Islands to carry out studies of Superior Degree at the Conservatory of Music of Barcelona that he concluded with Professor Miquel Farré\, in 1991\, obtaining the highest marks. He improved technique and interpretation with Guillermo González\, Ángel Soler\, Miquel Farré\, Josep Colóm\, Claude Helffer\, Dimitri Bashkirov\, James Avery\, Jorge Pepi and Edith Fischer. \nIn 1990 he was awarded first prize in the 11th Piano National Contest “Joan Massia” and second in the senior category of the 24th Catalonian Contest of Young Piano Interpreters. In 1992 he won first prize in the “Círculo de Amistad XII de Enero” Piano Contest in Santa Cruz de Tenerife\, and also first prize in the senior category of the 25th Catalonian Contest of Young Piano Interpreters. DESCRIPTION:Macarena Pesutic Hecker was born in Concepción\, Chile. She studied violin with Americo Giusti\, Jaime de La Jara and Alberto Dourthé at the Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Chile and with Patricio Cobos at the Columbus University (USA). She finished her viola studies with Nobuko Imai (bachelor’s and master’s degree\, 2001/2003) in the Hochschule für Musik Detmold and with Tatjana Masurenko (Konzertexamen\, 2003) in the Hochscule für Musik und Theater Leipzig. She also holds a master’s degree from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid\, España) in Investigación y Creación Musical (2008). \nShe has also taken master classes with Samuel Sanders\, Aaron Rosand\, Thomas Riebl\, Roberto Díaz\, Shmuel Ashkenasi\, Eberhardt feltz and members of the Julliard Quartet and the Vermeer Quartet. \nHer career has taken her into important musical festivals including the Academie International d’eté de Nice (France)\, International Musicians Seminar (UK)\, Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival (USA)\, Apple Hill Chamber Music Festival (USA)\, Holland Music Sessions (Holland)\, Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival (Finland) and the Thy Chamber Music Festival (Denmark). \nMacarena won second prize at the MTNA Competition (1994\, USA) and first prize at the RWE Competition in Leipzig (2001\, Alemania). \nAs a soloist\, she has performed Bartók’s viola Concerto with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Concepción (Chile) and Mozart´s Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola with the Symphonie Orchester Warendorf (Alemania)\, among others. In January 2005 he finished his studies with the highest marks obtaining the “Konzertexamen” degree with Anatol Ugorski at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Germany). \nHe has won the Claudio Arrau Piano Competition in Chile three times (1983\, 1985\, 1991) and he also obtained the first prize in the 2nd Frédéric Chopin Piano Competition in Chile (1991). \nBetween 1996 and 2000 he received the Esso Chile international grant given by the Corporación de Amigos del Teatro Municipal. DESCRIPTION:ALFREDO REYES \nHe was born in Mexico City in 1991 and began his musical studies at the age of three\, violin with his father and piano with his mother. His debut as a soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico City in November 1997\, made him the youngest soloist in the history of Mexican orchestras. At the end of that same month\, he won the 3rd prize in the V National Violin Competition “Hermilo Novelo”. He has performed as a soloist for important orchestras in the country\, such as the National Symphony Orchestra\, the Chamber Orchestra of Fine Arts\, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Mexico City\, the Symphonic Orchestra “Sinaloa de las Artes”\, among others. Throughout these years she belonged to the “Barenboim-Said Academy of Orchestral Studies”\, with professors Mathis Fischer and Klaus Peters\, and studied for a year at the “Conservatoire à Rayonement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt”\, in Paris \, thanks to an Erasmus scholarship. \nIn her most outstanding orchestral experience we include the Young Orchestra of Andalucia for more than eight years\, she has participated in “L’orchester des Jeunes de la Méditerranée” in 2014 and 2015 and recently she is an active member of the NJO (“Nationaal Jeugd Orkest” of the Netherlands). She has also collaborated with the professional orchestra “Philarmonie Zuidnederland” and belongs to the job market of the “Córdoba Symphony Orchestra”. She has played under the direction from conductors such as Alain Altinoglu\, Dmitri Liss\, Antony Hermus\, Carlo Rizzi\, Michael Thomas\, Manuel Hernandez Silva or Hidemi Suzuki. Currently she continues her training  with Professor Piotr Jasiurkowski\, in Maastricht Conservatorium (Netherlands) and is a member of the string quartet “Famara Quartet” founded in September 2016. \n\nEZGI ÖZER \nShe was born in Ankara\, Turkey\, in 1992 and began her music career in 2003 in the viola group of Professor Betil Basegmezler at Hacettepe University Ankara of the State Conservatory. In 2008\, she joined Dogus Children Symphony Orchestra\, which has been directed by Prof. Rengim Gökmen. Afterwards\, she gave various concerts with this orchestra between 2008 and 2010. Besides\, she also attended\, as a soloist but also as a member of chamber music ensemble various music festivals in Ankara. She attended many important masterclasses with Tatjana Masurenko in 2009 and Naoko Shimuzu in 2009\, among others \nIn 2011\, she started to study viola with Feza Gökmen. She earned the opportunity to be a part of Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Cem Mansur\, which took place at the Young Euro Classic in Berlin. In the same year\, she was selected to be a member of Ankara Youth Symphony Orchestra as the principal viola. Moreover\, she gave a lot of concerts in Turkey with the orchestra of Hacettepe University Ankara of the State Conservatory. In 2012\, she took part in 15th International Young Musicians Chamber Music competition in Edirne and her ensemble group recieveing a honorable mention award. In year 2012\, she had opportunity to attend of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara. In 2013-2014\, she had the opportunity to study with Prof. Mikhail Zemtsov in Utrecht Conservatorium during an exchange program. She performed Bloch Concertino for flute and viola with flute player Hazar Birkan as a soloist with Utrecht Conservatorium Youth Orchestra. She completed her bachelor education with a honor prize at Hacettepe Ankara of the State Conservatory in 2015. Since 2016 she is continuing her education in the Conservatorium Maastricht with Julia Dinerstein\, and she is part of the “Wolność“ string quartet\, performing in January and March 2018. \n\nJUDIT DíAZ \nBorn in Barcelona\, Spain\, in 1994\, she began playing cello at the age of six at the Escola de Música de Gracia. At the age of eight she started receiving private lessons with Adam Glubinski\, member of the Orquestra del Liceo during almost six years\, and later she completed her professional degree at the Municipal Conservatory  of Barcelona with Eulalia Nosás\, graduating in 2012. During this period she did various activities regarding chamber music: In 2008 she won the third prize in the Jugend Musiziert international competition with the JISA trio\, and in 2009 the second prize with a Baroque music ensemble\, where she learned “Viola da Gamba”. \nIn 2012 she moved to Berlin\, Germany\, to receive lesson from Katarzyna Polonek\, who used to perform as a soloist in the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and from Beate Altenburg\, member of the Statskapelle Berlin. During this period\, several chamber music concerts were held: in Lanzarote in January 2012 with the ensemble “Everett” and in March 2013 in Berlin with the trio of the community  “Canarios en Berlin”. She was also a member of J.P.O.N. (Young Philharmonic Orchestra of Saxony) during 2013\, performing all around Germany. \nIn September 2014 she moved to the Netherlands to study higher education with Professor Mirel Iancovici at the Maastricht Conservatory. Since then she has performed several concerts of chamber music and young orchestra: in October 2014 with the Youth Orchestra MUZICI of the Netherlands\, January 2015 with the trio of Piano “Maas”; in March he participated in 2015 with the orchestra “Guido’s Orchestra” in a program on German television; in April 2015 with the Cello Octet “Multicelli”; in July 2015 with the “Latin Breeze” ensemble; in October 2016 with the Symphony Orchestra B.A.M. SUMMARY:Mateus Dela Fonte
DESCRIPTION:Mateus Dela Fonte has been invited to perform in various European and Latin American countries. He gave concerts at various renowned festivals such as the Internationale Gitarrenfestspiele Nürtingen (Germany)\, VI. Guitarmania (Portugal)\, 25. Guitar Festival Mikulov (Czech Republic)\, and I. Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra (Peru). In Brazil his two concerts\, “Homenagem a Villa-Lobos” (2000) and “Retrato Brasileiro” (2001)\, were recorded and aired by Televisão Educativa de Salvador. \nIn 2010 his debut CD Sarabande & Samba featuring works from Germany\, Spain and Brazil was highly praised by the specialized press. In fall 2013 it was followed by Paisagem Brasileira – Brazilian Landscape. This second CD is dedicated to Mateus Dela Fonte’s home country – particularly the music style Choro. \nDela Fonte was the interpreter of many world premieres for solo guitar\, trio with guitar and Xavier Berenguel’s Concert de Tardor for Guitar und Orchestra. \nMateus Dela Fonte has won or placed highly in numerous international guitar competitions. He was awarded such prizes as Best Interpretation of a Work by Bach (IV. Internationaler Gitarrenwettbewerb Iserlohn\, Germany; 2010) and Best Interpreter of Brazilian Music (II. DESCRIPTION:Cantoría es un joven ensemble vocal especializado en la música del Renacimiento y el Primer Barroco dirigido por Jorge Losana. El ensemble nació en el verano de 2016 en el marco del I Festival Internacional y Curso de Música Antigua de Aledo (Región de Murcia) Early Music Aledo y está formado principalmente por estudiantes de canto de los departamentos de “Música Antigua” y “Clásica y Contemporánea” de la Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona). El ensemble ha trabajado con profesores como Pedro Memelsdorff\, Lluís Vilamajó\, Lorenzo Coppola\, Marta Almajano y Pedro Esteban y forma parte de GEMA\, la Asociación de Grupos Españoles de Música Antigua. \nEl repertorio de Cantoría se basa principalmente en la música del Siglo de Oro Español y el Renacimiento italiano. Trabaja habitualmente junto a instrumentistas especializados en la interpretación histórica y buscando en sus interpretaciones nuevas perspectivas en la relación entre la voz\, el texto\, el cuerpo y las emociones. La Cantoría colabora también con especialistas en danza histórica y teatro de los siglos XVI y XVII en la realización de sus producciones y espectáculos. Guía integral de una isla atlántica\, del escritor surrealista Agustín Espinosa\, Cultura Lanzarote produce un espectáculo pionero en el Archipiélago: un obra de encargo a cuatro compositores canarios contemporáneos –Nino Díaz\, Samuel Aguilar\, Ayoze Rodríguez y Manuel Becerra– en la que se combinan música\, literatura y el paisaje de Lanzarote.
