DESCRIPTION:During the month of May\, Arrecife continues to enjoy music with the II Proximity Concert Series\, an initiative that brings live music closer to the whole community\, creating meeting spaces where art and coexistence merge. The Nino Díaz Foundation promotes this project with the firm purpose of establishing closer ties between the public and the artists\, making each concert an accessible\, participatory and emotional experience.\nIn this opportunity we invite you to enjoy live music with the MSM Duo\, formed by Júlia Ferrer (viola) and Judith Díaz (cello)\, two outstanding members of the renowned MSM Quartet. Their performance will offer us an immersive sound journey\, bringing chamber music closer to families and music lovers of all ages.\nMSM Quartet\, established in 2018\, has performed numerous concerts in Europe and has been awarded prizes such as the Grand Prix du Public at the Maastricht Awards of Music in 2022 and the First Grand Prix at the Vienna International Competition in 2024.\nWe will also have the brilliant narration of Saray Castro with the text and direction of José Carlos Campos\, who with their artistic and literary magic will envelop the evening in a warm and evocative atmosphere. \nConciertos de Proximidad is an invitation to discover\, feel and share music as a universal language. DESCRIPTION:The Nino Díaz Foundation continues with the seventh edition of the Class_ik Lanzarote series\, reaffirming its commitment to the dissemination of chamber music and the creation of high quality artistic experiences on the island. Over the years\, this cycle has established itself as a cultural reference\, bringing musical excellence and creating meeting spaces between Canarian artists of great projection with artists of international prestige\, approaching an increasingly wider audience.\nOn this occasion we will have the pleasure of meeting at CamelHouse\, to enjoy an exceptional concert with the MSM Trio\, formed by Nikita Akulov (violin)\, Júlia Ferrer (viola) and Judith Díaz (cello)\, who\, together with the talented guest pianist Natalia Nikolaeva\, will offer a repertoire that will transport us through the emotions and beauty of chamber music.\nThe MSM Quartet\, which includes the members of the Trio\, has received important international awards\, such as the Grand Prix du Public at the Maastricht Awards of Music 2022 and the First Grand Prix at the Vienna International Competition 2024. \nNatalia Nikolaeva has an intense concert activity as a solo pianist as well as in collaboration with orchestras and chamber groups\, giving concerts all over Europe and Latin America. DESCRIPTION:Stories\, both real and fictional\, have a profound impact on our lives. When intertwined with music\, emotions and experiences emerge that connect\, inspire and transform us. \nOn this occasion\, the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz hosts a unique evening where life stories and music come together to create a moment of sensitivity and transformation. \nMaría Antonia Iglesias will share her story\, a life testimony full of intensity and overcoming\, which invites us to reflection and emotion. And\, as a travelling companion\, music will be there to guide us\, to move us and give voice to the strength to overcome and to what sometimes words cannot express. \nThanks to the initiative of the Nino Díaz Foundation and the collaboration of Cultura Arrecife\, this meeting will be much more than an event: it will be an opportunity to share\, to feel and to let ourselves be carried away by the magic of words and music. We will be able to enjoy a repertoire specially selected for this opportunity under the interpretation of María Antonia Iglesias (piano) and Nino Díaz (clarinet). \nDuring the evening\, the public will be able to enjoy a repertoire ranging from the lyricism of Frédéric Chopin – with his famous Waltz in A minor and the evocative Nocturne in C sharp – to the expressive depth of Ludwig van Beethoven\, with his Romance.
