DESCRIPTION:Born in Teror (Gran Canaria)\, where she began her clarinet studies in the academy of the Banda Municipal de Música with Eusebio Bravo\, continuing them in the Academy of the OFGC\, with Miguel A. Rodríguez and Radovan Cavallin\, the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Las Palmas\, with Antonio Carmona\, the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias\, with Radovan Cavallin\, the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco – Musikene\, with José Luis Estellés\, Antony Pay\, Carlos Gil\, César Martín\, Carmelo Molina and Henri Bok\, and at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe (Germany)\, with W. Meyer\, Frank Nebl and Leonie Gerlach. She holds a degree in Music and has several Masters in Performance\, Chamber Music and Music Therapy\, as well as training in Alexander Technique and various courses in pedagogy and music education. During her studies\, Laura received scholarships from the Ministry of Education\, the Ministry of Culture and the Mapfre Guanarteme Foundation. She was clarinet soloist with the Joven Orquesta de Gran Canaria\, the Joven Orquesta de Canarias\, the Joven Orquesta Ciudad de Oviedo and the Orquestra Sinfónica da UFRJ (Brazil). He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi\, the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada\, the Oviedo Filarmonía\, the Philharmonie der Nationen\, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife and the Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester\, among others. He is a member of the Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria until 2021\, when he joins the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria\, with which he has been playing regularly since 2002. She has performed concerts in Europe\, the United States and Latin America. Laura Sánchez has been a founding member of the Ensemble Canaires\, the Trio Caliesa and Con Fuoco Quinttet. She also collaborates regularly with the International Bach Festival and the Orquesta Sinfónica de Las Palmas\, as well as with other musical institutions in the Canary Islands. Committed to her homeland and the dissemination of culture\, she actively participates in the creation of Canarian music\, premiering and recording works by contemporary composers such as Laura Vega\, Daniel Roca\, Ernesto Mateo\, Lothar Siemens and Nino Díaz. Laura Sánchez develops an intense work as a teacher\, having taught in several schools in Gran Canaria. Since 2009 she has been teaching clarinet at the Escuela Municipal de Música Candidito de Teror\, where she has been a member of the board for several years\, and is director of the clarinet ensemble “ClariKids”. She also teaches at the Gran Canaria International Clarinet Festival and at the summer course of the Asociación Músico-Educativa Inegale. She is currently clarinet soloist\, requinto and bass clarinet of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria and teacher of the EMM Candidito Teror. \nRADOVAN CAVALLIN \nHe was born in Zagreb\, Croatia\, in 1969. At the age of 13 he entered the Academy of Music at the University of Zagreb\, becoming the youngest student ever admitted. There he graduated four years later with honours. \nIn 1986 he was chosen among 76 candidates to enter the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris\, where he was awarded the following prizes: 1st Prize in Chamber Music unanimously in the class of Christian Lardé in 1988 and 1st Prize in Clarinet unanimously in the class of Guy Deplus in 1989. \nDuring his studies in Paris he was awarded four scholarships: 1986\, Ivo Pogorelich Scholarship; 1987\, Nadia and Lily Boulanger Scholarship; and 1988 and 1989\, French Government Scholarships. \nHe has won prizes in the following competitions: 1st National Clarinet Prize in Yugoslavia on 4 occasions (1981\, 1983\, 1985\, and 1986)\, 1st Prize in the International Clarinet Competition in Ancona (Italy) in 1984\, 2nd Prize in the International Clarinet Competition “Dos Hermanas”\, in Seville (Spain) in 1995. He has given more than 60 courses and master classes in Spain\, USA\, Cyprus\, China\, Japan\, Belgium\, Italy\, Portugal\, France\, Poland\, Croatia\, Slovenia and Serbia. He has also been a member of several international clarinet competitions. He is Artistic Director of the Gran Canaria International Clarinet Festival\, (Spain)\, VIMM-Virovitica International Clarinet Meeting (Croatia) and La Palma Chamber Orchestra (Spain). \nSince 1989 he has been Professor of the Academy and Principal Clarinet Soloist of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria with which he has performed under the baton of M. Rostropovich\, M. Yurovsky\, G. Rozhdéstvenski\, L. Slatkin\, J.C. Casadesus\, Norman del Mar\, Gianandrea Noseda\, Trevor Pinnock\, Gunter Herbig\, Leopold Hager\, Gabriel Chmura\, Antoni Wit\, Adrian Leaper\, Karel Mark Chichon\, Karlos Kalmar\, among many others. \nBetween 2002 and 2010 he was Professor of Clarinet at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). Radovan Cavallin is a Selmer\, Silverstein and Backun artist and performs with Selmer “Muse” clarinet\, Backun “Arabesque” mouthpiece\, and Silverstein clamp. and the Silverstein “Titanium” clamp. \nSAMUEL HERNÁNDEZ \nHe was born in La Laguna in 1985 and began his studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Tenerife\, later at the age of 17 he entered the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias being the youngest student. He was awarded a scholarship to extend his Postgraduate and Master studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with Maximiliano Martin and Heather Nicoll\, finishing them with Distinction and Honours\, winning important prizes such as the RSAMD Trust\, Governor’s soloist woodwind Competition and the Mary D. Adams Prize. He has collaborated with prestigious orchestras in Europe and Asia such as the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris\, Scottish Chamber Orchestra\, Royal Scottish National Orchestra\, BBC Scottish Symphony\, Northern Sinfonia\, Britten Pears Orchestra\, Scottish Opera Orchestra\, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra\, Asia-Pacific Union Orchestra\, The India Symphony Orchestra\, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife\, Macao Orchestra (China)\, Orquesta Sinfónica Verum\, Orquesta Clásica Santa Cecilia\, Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid and performing in the most important concert halls and festivals around the world such as Musikverien (Vienna)\, Royal Albert Hall (London)\, Shanghai Concert Hall (China)\, Performing art Center of Beijing (China) and the BBC Proms (London). DESCRIPTION:JAVIER LLOPIS\, clarinet \nConcert performer\, clarinet teacher at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Tenerife\, assistant clarinet of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife\, artistic director of the Tenerife Clarinet Fest and founder of the Pícolo Clarinet International Academy. \nBorn in Cullera (Valencia)\, he began his musical studies at the S.M.I. Santa Cecilia de Cullera and continued them at the Higher Conservatories of Valencia and Tenerife\, obtaining the Honours Prizes in Clarinet (Elementary\, Professional and End of Degree) and in Chamber Music (Professional and End of Degree). Subsequently\, he furthered his clarinet and chamber music studies in Spain\, France\, Germany and Austria\, with maestros Alois Brandhofer\, Alfred Prinz\, Karl Leister\, Bertram Egger\, Eric Hoeprich and Thomas Friedli among others. \nJavier is internationally recognised as one of the most outstanding clarinettists today\, both for the dissemination of the piccolo clarinet as a solo instrument and for the research and development devoted to this instrument. He has performed concerts as a clarinet and requinto soloist in Spain\, France\, Austria\, Italy\, Poland\, Portugal\, Germany\, Slovenia\, Belgium\, Brazil\, Uruguay and the USA\, premiering works that have enriched the scarce existing repertoire for this small instrument. This has allowed him to work with important composers such as Martínez Gallego\, Saul Gómez Soler\, Jose Manuel Encinoso\, Alexander Mullenbach\, Simon Milton\, Jose Manuel Fernández\, Laura Vega\, David Menent\, Milena Perisic and Nino Díaz among others. Javier has also composed several works for piccolo clarinet\, including Gloom 03:27 and the Variations on “Cançons de Mare”. \nIn his pedagogical facet\, Javier develops an intense work as artistic director of the Tenerife Clarinet Fest (International Clarinet Festival of Tenerife)\, in the Professional Conservatory of Music of Tenerife as well as in his international academy specialized in piccolo clarinet\, Pícolo Clarinet International Academy\, a pioneer project in the world as far as this instrument is concerned. \nJavier is also regularly invited to give master classes in Europe and Latin America\, including the University of Joao Pessoa\, the Academia Metropolitana in Lisbon\, Karol Szymanowski in Katowice\, Academia del Clarinetto in Italy\, etc. \nHis teaching has produced prize winners in important national and international competitions\, including Tenerife Clarinet Fest\, Gran Canaria International Competition\, Villa de Agaete International Competition\, Ciudade de Ourense\, Orihuela International Competition\, Italian Clarinet Academy\, Rising Stars Grand Prix of Berlin\, Grand Prize Virtuoso of Salzburg and Golden Classical Music Awards of the USA. \nHe is regularly invited to participate as a jury member in international competitions\, including the International Clarinet Competition “Saverio Mercadante” (Italy)\, I.CA High Scholl Clarinet Competition (Los Angeles and Madrid)\, Tenerife Clarinet Fest\, Concurso Internacional de Gran Canaria\, Concurso Internacional Villa de Agaete and Silverstein Global Clarinet Competition. \nHe has been Clarinet Soloist of the Santa Cecilia Symphony Orchestra of Cullera\, of the La Palma Island Symphony Orchestra\, of the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra\, Clarinet Soloist of the Municipal Symphony Band of Gran Canaria\, Requinto Soloist of the Tenerife Symphony Band (currently on leave of absence)\, founder of the Union and Friendship Band of Santa Cruz de Tenerife\, teacher at the Tenerife Conservatory of Music\, teacher at the Los Realejos School of Music and teacher at the Katarina Gurska Centre of Madrid. \nAs for chamber music\, Javier has played and collaborated in countless ensembles throughout his long musical career. He has formed a duo with pianist Mara Jaubert since 2011\, having developed a wide repertoire for this ensemble that ranges from classicism to the most avant-garde music\, as well as adapting and commissioning music for piccolo clarinet and piano. \nJavier is a Backun\, Vandoren and Silverstein artist. \n\nMARÍA EUGENIA JAUBERT RIUS\, piano \nPianist born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife\, she has performed in recitals with Celso Albelo\, Jorge de León\, Raquel Lojendio\, Nicolas Baldeyrou\, Jose Franch Ballester\, among others\, and also as a soloist. She has given concerts in Japan (Sapporo\, Kawasaki and Tokyo\, including a Masterclass on Spanish music)\, in the Auditorium of Tenerife\, in the University of Mexico DF (U.N.A.M) and was co-repetitive pianist in the world premiere of the English version of “Henry Clifford” by Isaac Albéniz in the Canary Islands Music Festival; in “El Moro de la Patera” by Lothar Siemens as well as in the Zarzuela “Adiós a la Bohemia”. He has been piano accompanist in different productions of the Opera Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria\, in the Regional Singing Prize María Orán of CajaCanarias and also in the singing course of the Mapfre Foundation with the baritone Manuel Garrido.  Pianist at the International Clarinet Meetings held in Tenerife. \nShe began her musical studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Tenerife with C. Hernández and J. Peñalver\, and obtained the Higher Degrees in Piano and Chamber Music at the Conservatorio Superior de Madrid under the direction of Guillermo González with the highest qualifications. With a scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs\, she continued her studies at the Musikhochschule in Vienna. Later\, with scholarships from the Autonomous Communities of the Canary Islands\, Madrid and the United Kingdom\, she moved to London where she obtained an Advance Course Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music. \nAs an active student she attended courses given by V. Perlemuter\, H. Graf\, Badura-Skoda\, D. Bashkirov\, A.
